John Carpenter specializes in investment sales and tenant representation (leasing).
As Principal of 949 Group, John excels in representing tenants and private and institutional investors with their commercial property acquisition/disposition/leasing efforts throughout the United States with a focus on California, Nevada, Texas, and Colorado Markets.

By thoroughly understanding his clients’ business and investment objectives, John develops a transaction strategy and implements the appropriate processes. The results offer decision-makers a clear understanding of market conditions and alternative solutions where both operational and financial goals can be met.

John is a graduate of the University of California Los Angeles, where he was a member of the Men’s Soccer Team. John began his career at CBRE in the Silicon Valley Office (San Jose) and upon moving to Southern California, he joined Colliers International, where he was responsible for a portfolio of properties in the Orange County market. Throughout John’s 15+ years of experience, he has completed over 100 transactions consisting of both sales and leasing totaling over 3 million square feet. John has assisted several institutional investors and large corporations in locating properties throughout the United States.
